at the end of the season the remnants of the sugar can get burned. light brown acres of land turn deep brown. Mother Nature injected with melanin.
brotherhood. these young boys were a pleasure to spend time with, rather exhausting at the same time. i always enjoy asking young kids what they want to grow up to be. the things you hear out of their mouths seems to be a universal sentiment — policeman, fireman, doctor, and my favorite, a football player.
athletic young souls. do whatever your heart desires.
down south i fell in love with the cars. i photographed three other cars just like this but painted various other colors. they were beautiful, the hottest cars on River Road. sometimes shit happens — like a roll of film gets exposed to light and you lose all of those precious images. this is the lone survivor of that mini series.
i photographed during a weekend trip in Louisiana. sometimes getaways are a luxury, other times they’re a necessity. i live for sights, sounds, and people that are new and unfamiliar.
i could never see myself riding in something this flashy but she’s a real beauty.
my darling sheena. need an inspirational friend, she’s the one to meet.

mother nature. i forget how much of a beautiful and peaceful place she can be. autumn hands down is the best time of the year to experience her. no bugs, no sweat, no misery from the unbearable heat. being in the woods today gave me the most nostalgic feeling of childhood. growing up in the country, the woods were my backyard. in just a few weeks i’ll be relocating into brooklyn —...
